Zed Nelson
Where Parr has gone out to take images without his subjects knowledge Nelson goes out to produce images of people where the model is posed and looking directly at the camera. This gives us a chance to start to consider the relationship between photographer and subject and you also know that the subject has willingly posed for the image.
This typed of posed image seems to be the most popular type of social documentary image and means we can compare images over the generations and get a good understanding of social changes over that period.
Martin Parr
Parr is a world renowned social documentary photographer as you can see from this image he's not in the vain of photographer that likes to pose his models but is more incline to produce image without the subjects knowledge. This makes the poseing of his models very natural to a point and very fluid but also at the same time Parr's images have a emberashing fill too them he is not someone i would like to take my portrait.

Clifford Thiel
This is the start of a series of image I'm am creating for my final major project at university it is a sort of cross from sports to social documentary. The aim of the project is to record the different clothing styles of different sports people and also what equipment they use. The whole project is going to be taken on medium format film and then scanned into my computer digitally where i will edit and then print. It is a cross over of styles of August Sander and Paul Floyd Blake with August simple styling and Floyd shots of sports people.
August Sander

I really like the work of August Sander the way he used a simple centred image in black and white as a form of documenting the social class's of the time. I like the fact that these simple images really show up any faults in your photographic technique they look easy to produce but his use of natural lighting is brilliant.
